A New World Record for a Plastic Free Ocean

Arduous journey on a tight schedule

Similar to his record-breaking, ultra-endurance run across America (120
consecutive daily marathon-distance runs regardless of terrain or climate),
Tom must stay on schedule every day from Key West to NYC.  Numerous events
are being planned at landfall locations along the route to raise awareness
and funding for the mission of a Plastic Free Ocean.

Stay tuned for event dates, locations and details including raffles and
contests.

If you are interested in helping to plan or participating in a landfall
event, please send your contact information including city along route and
name of “your beach,” and any other information that may be relevant.  We
are actively seeking participation from students and faculty of programs in
marine/environmental science, waste management, recycling and biochemistry.
